We are seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automotive repair and maintenance. The successful candidate will have experience working with power tools and hand tools, and will be able to perform a variety of tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems. The right candidate will train alongside our Master Technician for more specialized and complex diagnostic and programming work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

• Remove and reinstall automatic and manual transmissions, transaxles, transfer cases, and related driveline components

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics.

• Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions, electrical systems, and engines to manufacturer specifications.

• Use power tools and hand tools to diagnose and fix issues with vehicles, including issues related to the powertrain and ADAS systems.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.

• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members to complete auto estimating and ensure timely completion of repairs.

• Maintain detailed service records, document repair procedures, and communicate findings clearly to customers.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in automotive technology and maintenance procedures.

• Our pay range is a starting point and estimate. Starting rate is based on candidate experience.

• Overtime is paid at time and a half rate, and we have significant overtime opportunities.

• In addition to our hourly pay, all employees past their probationary period (90 days) are eligible for a weekly performance bonus that can be up-to $100/week (that's up to $5,200/year).

We are looking for an experienced technician who specializes in diagnostic work who's tired  of limited earning potential.

We’re seeking a motivated, experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. If you have a focus on quality and fixing something right the first time, our shop might be a good fit. We have significant overtime opportunities and weekly performance bonuses. While we are open to all talented techs, our ideal candidate has a 15+ years of automotive repair experience and 10+years of automotive diagnostic experience.

Important to note: We pay hourly with time and a half for overtime with a performance bonus structure (see below). We believe flat rate results in lower quality work and lower earning potential overall.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

• Advanced Diagnostics: Your focus will be on identifying and troubleshooting complex issues utilizing shop-provided tools and diagnostic software (if you happen to come with your own preferred diagnostic software or tools, that just gives you more options to work with). You will also be responsible for communicating/documenting recommended repair procedures.

• Complex Repair Work: Take ownership of complex automotive repairs from diagnosis through completion, using advanced diagnostic equipment, wiring diagrams, service information, and electrical testing procedures to accurately identify and repair difficult vehicle concerns.

• Quality Control: Inspect every vehicle to ensure it meets our rigorous safety and quality standards before it hits the road.

• Shop Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized bay and collaborate with the team to keep the shop running like a well-oiled machine.

• Continuous Growth: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest automotive tech and procedures.

• Competitive Base Pay: Our pay range is based on your experience and abilities. The right candidate will see consistent growth in wages. We will provide a written offer for you to review prior to employment, so you can decide if the job is right for you. Instead of flat rate, we pay an hourly rate with time and a half for overtime, along with a performance bonus structure (see below), as we believe this results in better wages for our techs.

• Significant Overtime Opportunities: We have significant OT opportunities available, paid at 1.5x.

• Weekly Performance Bonuses: After 90 days, you’re eligible for up to $100/week in a weekly performance bonus; That’s up-to an extra $5,200 per year just for doing great work.

• We recently launched an IRA program for our tenured employees. Eligible employees will have up to 3% match (more details provided upon enrollment/eligibility).

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Proven Experience: A solid background as an automotive diagnostic technician or master technician.

• Technical Mastery: High proficiency with diagnostic-specific tools/software and a deep understanding of vehicle systems (including powertrain and ADAS).

• Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying current with the latest developments in automotive technology, software, and maintenance procedures.

• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to diagnose complex, "hard-to-find" issues independently.

• Team Player Mentality: You work well solo but know how to collaborate to get the job done efficiently.
